No, Mari is his sister, and she is dating someone else entirely who married and has a family. This is a giant misunderstanding.. What is true tho, is that Sihoon took over his life and chased him and then backed off and was cold to him.. So yea,I think he sucks right now.

In Korean, a girl uses "oppa" to address both an older brother or a guy older than them (usually a girlfriend addresses their boyfriend who is older by "oppa"). So, the "daddy" whom you mentioned or the seme is actually Mari's actual older brother. Mari's boyfriend is another person. Yeah because of this, the MC misunderstands that seme is going out with Mari when they are actually just siblings.
Mari is the best friend of the MC ( main character) who's name is Junyoung. Junyoung knows that Mari is dating a married man who she calls Oppa. It is like a nickname in korea that is used for both older brothers and boyfriends or older guys girls look up to. So she also calls her brother Oppa. His name is Sihoon. When Junyoung sees her with Sihoon and she calls me Oppa, Junyoung assumes it's the married man she is seeing.. But it's, in fact, her real brother. Her brother takes an interest in Junyoung, Junyoung has guilt because he becomes attracted to Sihoon, and feels guilty because he thinks he is secretly seeing a man who is Mari's ( his best friend) lover AND that man is married. Earlier a woman came to beat up Mari because she knows about Mari and her husbands affair. However, we don't really know who that man is yet who is married and having an affair with Mari. So Sihoon falls for Junyoung and Junyoung falls for Sihoon, but Sihoon has some past baggage that makes him back up a little from Junyoung.. For Junyoung, that's a final straw to the fact that he already feels bad because he thinks he is having an affair with his best friends lover who is also married. So Junyoung tries to make his own life work for him. I hope that I explained it ok, and that it helps.:)

Lets not forget that daddy is not only dating him, but Mari too. He also has a wife and kid so yeah I totally get why he sees it as complicated and doesnt want to be wrapped up in that.
