Someone pls correct me if I'm mistaken. From what I read osamu received notebook from a madam from kyobashi. The madam offered to him if he wants material to make a novel. The mdam in kyobashi is the one yozo keep frequent during his life in Tokyo. Yozo is a real person. He's the one who wrote the notebook. Osamu is the one who made the novel.
I believe that No Longer Human is a semi-autobiography. I’ve read the book and was also wondering about this.
I stopped breathing when I saw those servants doing those kinds of things to Yozo. So this is real right? Osamu Dazai had been through this? Ugh, it's only the first two chapters and I can't stop my tears!!
