I don't. She didn't care about her son's feelings just her own. Doubt she ever asked her son if he wanted to be engaged. By the time he grew up to make the decision it was probably a done deal for him. She is so utterly selfish. How can anyone like someone like that?
Well, I liked it. It was a fun story and it really not a "done deal", as you can tell when the mom says that if he's not okay with his all time crush being a guy, he could date her daughter instead. I mean, in reality it is silly, but as a fictional story, it is very entertaining and I see nothing selfish about it ╮(￣▽￣)╭
