It's so unfulfilling...
The ending I mean. I could've thought "you shouldn't have relied on the ring" but if that was the case, it might've been entirely hopeless; it was "Juri" he had expectations of; and though that's basically Sakura, it's easy to ingrain into one's head as common sense or societal values that the other party is "a mere child" thus "unable to be considered a romantic partner at all" despite her efforts. So, yeah; things turned out right, but I wish it had more chapters. I was kinda expecting the dark haired little boy to be more invested in Sakura romantically when they grow older.
One may not think well of love triangles; but it could appear to be progressing in that direction; plus if the older guy does indeed like "Juri" Sakura and waits for her, it's easier to see progress with a RIVAL. It spurs one on; knowing that "if you're too slow, you may not have a chance." It's a commonplace tactic, but it tends to work all the same. Otherwise, if he can't really see her as more than a child friend from early on even when she does grow up despite the "Juri" history, which of couse I (we?) wouldn't want then at least it's definite. There's at least a little resolution. An ending. The "ending" we have now only gives us hope, but I think it would be nicer if they also
Showed more of it...
