i read this when this first came out and i didnt like it because i didnt really like the uke's attitude. i read volume one and i thought that was it but turns out there was a volume 2. half way through vol 2 i stopped read it because again, i didnt like the uke's attitude. i completely stopped reading any updates regarding this story, and now theres a new update for this on the main page of mangago and it was for volume 4. wow, i didnt realize how long it has been and so i thought that maybe things are different and the uke and their relationship got better, so i read the recent update, and nope. 4 volumes of this, 2 of which i didnt read and the uke is still the same as he was in volume one. dont know why i bothered. i thought that by volume 4 there would at least be some sort of difference in the way maiko treated the seme, the indifferent attitude, the dodging of answers to questions and the secret keepings. maybe wachi is destined to chase maiko's tail, but never catch it.

It is unfair to base your judgement on Makio's personality based logic and the norm..

For you to judge a person, you have to know his environment and the people he interacts with...not just how he acts..

Makio grew up in with the twisted people of the underworld.. their logic and their way of life is already very different from normal people.. The author actually is getting better at showing how Makio "changes for the better"... You cannot ask him to suddenly change all that he is just because he fell in love..

He grew up being shown that love is weakness.. He's way of protecting Wachi is also shrouded with lies and deceit but he, in his own way, is changing.. Wether he notices it or not.. But his actions already speaks for his love.. If you can't see that.. that's on you..

But changing one self for a beloved person's sake is easier said than done..

I just want you to keep in mind that Makio's environment is different from normal.. his "family" is also different from the norm.. don't expect him to suddenly be normal and react normally.. That's asking too much.. You are too biased..

I'm not really a fan of MAkio but even I can see that the author is good at showing character development.. It is almost visible without needing words to explain it.. It's a pity that some people can't understand or misunderstand the story and speak bad of it..

the uke is still a dick though, for a long time of the manga and even now it didn't change much at all. and his "environment" and reasons don't really help to make us feel anything to him cause again, he still a big dick and do the same things! then again the Seme was a dick too, but at least he change his ways so much more then the uke ever did in this story. and the Seme is not "normel" either, like his friend said. but still he was ready to change and give up so many things for the uke. it just feel one sided, like narumaki said. and it's annoying!
