Pages 28-34 in Chapter 3 represented one of those rare instances for me. That second-to-last line, "Once is enough...for a parting gift," punctuated the heartache which Kuroki was feeling so exquisitely and the irony of its utterance was not lost on me. Exquisite, beautiful, heartbreaking. I patiently await the next installment.
