the ending was actually quite appropriate dong hyuk knows that no matter how much both of them try they will never be happy with eachother and as for yule he regrets his action and goes back to stalk kyung soo ...................kyung soo changed and tried to give his life a change and leave the sad and hurt past behind and at lat stand for himself (if he can d that i would be way more than happy) ...............in the last scene we see that yule and kyung soo met again and yule regrets and looks worn out he says hi that is very rare for him to bo this docile and sad and kyung soo somehow knew that he was regretfull ...............andas kyungsoo said before that he had urt someone innocent so he wont ever be happy and cause yule was also with him he would also never be happy ...........so accepting all this kyung soo also says hi and the rest is up to the viewers to decide whether they made up or continued with their new lives .................welllllll all this is just from my point of view the author might have something different in her mind
