The main character's way of speaking in the new chapter seems to go against his thinking this whole time, so it's hard to figure him out. It's kind of ironic that he says the nurses are treating the patients like sub-species when he says stuff along the lines of, "even mental people can (insert basic human thing here)." But thinking about it maybe it's just something he's starting to realize as he doesn't have mental health problems and he doesn't seem to have much educational background on people suffering from mental health issues. However this just brings me to the question of why is he in the sanitarium? Idk I'm just rambling at this point.
Judging by his chapter it seems like why he’s in there has something to do with his mother, who is possibly abusive? We really don’t know much about him yet but that’s just what I’ve gathered.
