its quite interesting that in almost all manga the mc let it slide when a foreigner kisses them in the mouth or in the cheek as if that was something normal, and then go like "oh it must me cuz they are a foreigner ahhaah"

i imagine their thought process goes something like, "oh they're a foreigner. physical contact like this must be common in their culture. gotta respect that culture!"

oh yeah, you are totally right, in comparison with the japanese, the amercian we are more touchy and we don´t really know what are the boundaries but in general you just kiss someone you like or have a relationship with

    the U.S.
It's definatley more touchy, feely here. It's normal to hug school friends.
guys and girls sleep in the same room or bed together, and no one really bats an eye. It's more of an indication of NOT being close, when you have no physical contact with someone.

me too. but a lot of people i went to school with, most everyone could share a bed with someone of opposite sex and no one really cared. friends or boyfriends, girlfriends, it doesn't matter.
i know some parents do care. but majority wise, they just told them, "If you're having sex, you better be wearing protection". and left it at that.
