I also feel the same way... Mono hasn’t gained back his memories so it could be a one time thing. Or like you said Baron is trying to make Mono remember...

They're alike but they also have differences; Mono is the blunt, cunning, teasing and control freak while Baron is quiet, strict, kind and gentle.
There's a difference on helping Baron and Mono's friends; He's in love with Baron. As he said "All I wanted was for you to be happy". He's happy when he gave the position to Baron because he thought Baron will be happy about it. Also Baron is someone he desires, someone he wants to hold. In my opinion, he totally deserves it. I hope he can have Baron already...
Yes I know they have difference I was pointing out what they had in common and that is the disconnect in emotion they have and how since they both don't know then no one can point out what's wrong because its something both of them lacked, and we don't truly know what happened or what was said it must have been bad for both of them to cut all contact with each other for years or if they had contact it was only professional and with monos case a bit of teasing but he never got any farther than that. Just because he did it out of love doesn't mean it was good for the other party as I said it was already implied in this chapter that people judged them because of what mono did and we don't really know how baron sees mono even before it could be one sided. Mono is only acting this way because he doesn't remember its not that I don't like baron its just it looks like it would do more harm to each other because they r emotionally destructive. This chapter seemed sad and empty even when they were close to each other I am actually a monoxbaron prior to this chapter but seeing their back story I just don't want both of them getting hurt again I would rather they find someone else that could fill in the void they both lack.
For me I dont think baron was crying because he was rejected I feel that he was crying because mono hurt him by giving the position to baron which is why he was asking why mono did that he felt betrayed because people doubted both of them more so baron because his family has influence. Mono did it although he doesn't understand it (emotions) because he liked baron but because of this event it left a strain on their relationship, baron was hurt and mono had guilt which is why I think that he mono helps his friends but never get too emotionally involved he doesn't want to make the same mistake he did back then. I honestly don't ship monoxbaron because they are too alike they both have a disconnect in terms of emotions, opposites attract because they complement and fill each others void like monxmananam. Its just my opinion though but if they do end up together or if they had sex on the next chapter I just feel that once mono regains his memory it would be something he might regret or its just barons plan to make mono regain his memory by going along I'll just have to wait for the next chapter.
