I think they feel guilty and arkward because they didn't usually did it, it just happened and because they are "grow ups" now they understand it's not "normal" even if it's not "carnal", but it's just because it is not in general. It's like a case of minority you know. Taking extrem but simple case: being gay is not "normal", false, it's just because they're is more hetero poeple. Being black is not "normal", false, there is just more white poeple.
