I can understand your point of view. Doesn't mean I agree with (as I still ship the "Mi Xi" Imperial Cruise Line), but as long as the new guy doesn't turn out to be an asshole, I will respect those who ship with the new guy. If he turns out to be a really nice guy and the original ship with Mi Xi goes through, then I would not be adversed to seeing this new guys story with a love interest of his own, either.
Just realized, I said "but as long as the new guy doesn't turn out to be an asshole, I will respect those who ship with the new guy." And that makes it sound as though I will stop respecting you and those who agree with you if the character turns out to be an asshole. I did not mean it that way. LOL I meant it as I will respect the idea of the ship itself (meaning I will not actively argue against the ship should it come to pass, even though I would be disappointed). You guys I will respect because you are being respectful of others, and a characters change of heart/attitude will not affect that. Does that make sense? I am on pain meds, so I hope it does. LOL
Oh, I'm the same way! As I mentioned, I don't have any particular ill will towards Mi Xi, much less towards his fans! I'm glad we can all be civil about this :D
I know I'm in the minority here but I wish this new guy luck. Nothing personal against Mi Xi but Xiao Shang deserves a stable and balanced relationship for once. It's obviously not gonna happen tho
