I understood that too. But Tomo did have a point when he said Arisawa has also been coming to his place with that kind of reasoning and that Arisawa didn't consider how it would traumatize Tomo with their memories in his house once he gets dumped.
I think what Arisawa did was right(not wanting him to come to his place).He was just defending himself from being heartbroken in the future
