i think if you read it in one go from the beginning to the recent update, you can see the suuuuuper slow development between each pair. i agree for now it is just bromance. we're already at 241 chs and it's only developed this far. bet it'd take another 300 chs for any actual romance to happen.
it’s not bromance at all. both couples have been confirmed to have been endgame canon and there have been illustrations of zhan zheng xi and jian yi kissing in the future. one with xi sticking his tongue down jian yi’s throat. anyways here are two illustrations of both couples together in the future: https://imgur.com/a/nTAWqY3 these are official by the author.
It would be nice if more explanation as to why the blond guy has been repeatedly kidnapped, his mum is rarely at home, dad is missing and he is being watched over on the orders of his dark haired friend's brother, who has assigned the white haired guy to make sure he is safe and receives money. The ginger haired guys backstory at least is starting to take pace, dad was indebted to yakuza loan sharks? and ended up with a destroyed business and got sent to prison. All the characters are connected, but the actual important parts of the plot seemed to get glossed over just for some gay-baiting.
it’s not baiting if they all end up together. gay baiting is pureposely putting out homosexual implications with no intention of following through. (tv shows often do this).. i don’t see what the plot has anything to do with the boys relationships being classified as bromance. with the blonde’s situation the whole point is that he doesn’t know any of the reasons for why what’s happening around him is happening therefore the readers won’t know either, for the redhead he still has memories retained from his childhood and his dad is still technically around although in prison. there are a lot of questions concerning all of the boys background unanswered.. even with he tian’s parents.. there is no mention of his mother or even what happened with his father. but they are all be answered in time. this is a just a slow moving story. it’s nothing new.
Nah, I'd still say for now this is all Bromance. I feel like the author and publisher are releasing hopeful images of the characters so the readers will stay and hope for the best. They probably realized already that a lot readers are getting impatient. They are just dragging the story because its popular. The scenes jump from different events each updates, there is no continuation. I'm hoping for this to be at least shounen ai but all I see are fanservice.
I don't think so, it's obvious that the couples in this manhua have feelings for each other.
At this point, I have come to conclusion that this manhwa is only about bromance, fanservice! The story just looks like random events. I feel like the author of this story doesn't really have anything particular in mind. Just keeps throwing random plot. It is still a good story though, its fun reading their everyday life.
