Well, I'm currently 13 years old and I've been in the Yaoi fandom for only like 6 months so I'm not a veteran like you.
I’ve been reading since 13 too I’m 15 (almost 16) I always have my phone on the lowest brightness but I think I need glasses...my eyesight was so good before! Oh well it helps me feel not so lonely! So I have no regrets!

I’ve been a fan of reading Yaoi and any good mangas out here since i was 13 yrs old (now I’m 21 and feelin old to read but still enjoy it cuz why not)
Today ive visited my family optalmologist and she’s like “why’s your eyesight so bad? do you read a lot of books?”
then i was like “umm yes, i think it is considered as reading so yes?” ( ° ʖ °) then when she asked “I do too!- what genre” .
“like love without boundaries” . ( ° ʖ °) (btch pls thank god That sounds normal enough) But still I HAVE NO REGRETS! i can say i enjoyed my 8 years with happiness!
ps . y’all should lessen the brightness of your phones sometimes to protect your eyes(⌒▽⌒)
