Pretty interesting first chapter. Although no one else seems to think so, tbh this just makes me want more. Like who is that person he's looking for. Also, I kind of get what this guys thoughts are. It's like he wants to attain the power so he thinks doing it will get him the power(which is kind of like a psychopaths thinking. I also may be wrong but that's the vibe I'm getting). It kind of reminds me of mythology stories in some way. I look forward hopefully to more. I get why everyone is having problems but I just really want more.
