Yaoi gives me second hand embarrassment too sometimes. But now that have I have learned the way of the BL I don't like other romance unless the plot is something really good and unique

I feel you. Sometimes it really takes an amazing manga for me to fully accept the romance in it. Got used to so much yaoi, it's like some nerves for normal romance is gone.
