I think this is why the future spin of series, focusing on Yule's brother will be interesting seeing as he basically had no redeemable qualities in this one.
The brother had no feelings for Kyung-soo, other than to hurt him in order to pain Yule. Whereas the complexities of Yule and Kyung-soo's relationship were better presented, and the timeline of a first sentimental/affectionate relationshio moving onto being abusive and codependent and how this eventually made both sides break down and end up equally destroyed and miserable.
I have tendencies where I keep trying to see 'good' in bad people. Yeah all of them in this manga were fucked up - even Donghyuk (I probably mispelled) I didn't like him one bit especially towards the end. So say whatever you want and I might be alone in this, Yula is nothing compared to his brother, and Yula DOES care. That's a fact. He has issues with himself, he's a rapist yes, but he cared in one way or another. I won't even say what I think of his older brother because he pissed me off so much
