So this is about a house I lived in when I was little but I didn't really notice anything but tbh I just think I'm not sensible to those things.
My parents bought this two floor house when I was a baby because they wanted to have enough space for me and my brothers to grow up. Both my parents worked but we were still babies/toddlers (xept for the oldest) so we had a caretaker that would make sure we were alright. She started telling my mom about how something weird was going on with the house and how she saw this man walk a short distance from the bottom of the stairs and then dissapear. She was super freaked out but my mom and dad hadnt seen anything even during the weekends so they didnt believe her. Time passed and she kept telling my mom she was seeing the same thing over and over: a man who would move a short distance from the bottom of the stairs. Some more time passed and my aunt came to visit us and stay with us for a while, and she also freaked out cause she saw the same thing that our caretaker did. My aunt started socializing with the neighbors (my parents hadnt had much chance to talk with them since they were both always working) and she found out that during the construction of the house, one of the workers passed away after falling from the second floor onto what would later be the bottom of the stairs.

It was 10pm at that time...I was alone in our first floor with all the lights closed (cause i love dark and alone) and I was lying on our couch.....there is a huge mirror at the side of my left foot...and our dining table is being reflected on that mirror...soooo I was facing the opposite side of our dining room...... as I was browsing.....I heard some tapping of finger nails on our dining table(our dining table has glass)....I just ignored it....and when I heard it again I looked at our dining table and saw no one.....but when I looked into the mirror.....I saw a ghost(don't know if it's a he or she) has a black veil and I saw its hand with long finger nails tapping....I quickly ran away and went to our bedroom...
my sis and i used to sleep together on the bottom bunkbed. One night she woke me up because she really needed to pee and i was going to take her until i turned to the side and saw a dark hooded figure (you know, like Death). I got scared so I shut my eyes. My sister was still moving around because she couldn't hold it in so I lay forward again and opened my eyes but this time I saw the hooded figure climbing the stairs of the bunkbed and I was like NOPE and shut my eyes again. I went to sleep without taking my sis to the bathroom and she wet the bed lol
This could be bc of sleep and hallucinating. Idk though
There was another time when we were visiting relatives. Since the town/village (idk what it's called) has no streetlights, it just looks pitch black outside. Anyway, the house is kind of sunken in so there are stairs outside that you would need to go through to walk to our litte patio and to the house. Can't go in another way. The house was next to our cousins house that was at the top. My bro and i were just there inside the house and saw someone through the window. We thought it was our cousin so we went to the door (they were like 3 or 4 feet from each other) and leaned on it so she couldn't open it. A little prank, we were kids. We waited but no one ever opened it. It could have been a reflection of the inside but no one was in the room with us and it looked like it was someone from outside. My grandma and mom went outside but there wasn't anything. We asked our cousin the next day if she came by but she looked confused and said no.
When I look back, it all could have been in our heads, but it is freaky at the time lol.
There are other instances in which people (or my parents) tell us they have seen something weird/paranormal but i don't believe them. They're interesting to hear about though.
I'm curious. I like ghost stories, so I've been thinking, have you had any paranormal experiences?
Here are some of mine:
I worked at a store where I was the assistant manager. 1night as we were closing my coworker went out to throw the trash. I bent down for some reason and as I was coming up I saw a flash of gray from the corner of my eye. I thought my coworker was back, but when I straightened myself I realized he was not back yet.
Another time another coworker and I were closing and out of nowhere the heavy cast iron pan we had hanging started swinging. We walked out of the store and locked up and stood outside the window or like 5 min. And the pans were still swinging.
Same store, this time I was opening. I was by myself when I heard something fall. I thought "I'll pick it up when I go to the back office" when I went to the back office there was nothing on the floor.
In general there were some mornings when I felt an oppressive feeling when i opened.
