Just imagining someone taking their pet snake on a walk. The person walking the snake is all happy meanwhile the snake is just hissing and attacking people who are passing by.
Y'know, spongebob style but instead of snakes they have worms?

So I got curious after reading some manga where the characters keep pets in their homes, a few of them having an exotic animal. I tried to search in Google but I couldn't find the answer that I want, so I thought about asking it here.
Is it legal to keep servals as pets in Japan ? Especially when living in an apartment or a condo, not a house
Also, is it legal to bring exotic animals out for a walk in the streets ? Especially snakes.
