For me, would be good if the cause for the infertility was the fact that she left her mate, that she already had a child btw, to me with an alpha, just because he was an alpha and it was pushing the right buttons. Maybe even with her choice, her body never accepted the fact that was not the same mate, even if the other was a beta.
