I really adore the first story. It has just the right amount of angst, and I think it ended quite well with the author not making their relationship too forced, with Higaki still feeling doubtful of souta's feelings. But what really gets me every time is this scene
Souta's face when Hiagki said those words, and the symbolism behind that final badminton play was really beautiful. How Souta was determined to not let the "game" end there, and how Higaki could obviously save that shot and let the "game" continue but chose not to. This, this was just perfect
