His character is more interesting than his brothers. I always thought the brothers motivations to hurt Kyun-soo were a bit far fetched, and his character was a bit weak. He hates his brother, he thinks he was a rival for his mother's affection, but they are men presumably in their late 20's and 30's now, kidnapping your brother's abused ex and then raping him, why? What's that going to achieve, especially when he finds out that Yule set this as a trap, to make Kyun-soo think he was the better option and more emotionally broken and dependent on him. The brother seems like he has a love interest of his own, so the new "what if' episode, I think is the least strong out of the three. The brother somehow committed Yule to a hospital, fine, but I never felt there was any emotional bond between Geon & Kyun-soo, so why would he want a relationship with him, his rival brother is out of the picture, so is it because he feels sorry and wants to make up for things? Saying he wont mind if roles are reversed, he''ll be the one getting tied up etc as long as Kyun-soo stays beside him, that shows too much affection and devotion, that was never in their original characters. Kyun-soo was shown to be living independently, so there seems no motivation for him to return back to that environment with Geon, just because Geon promised to keep Yule away by keeping him in hospital. The other scenarios are far stronger and believable. Kyun-soo loved Yule at one point, and he feels a great deal of guilt still towards both Yule and Dong-hyuk. I can see Kyun-soo being asked to make a go of things again by Dong-hyuk after D gets reassurance that Yule is in hospital, but still Yule seems to be suffering post traumatic stress, and will always be haunted by Yule even if he is not physically there. Depressingly though, the most realist scenario would be for Kyun-soo to end up with Yule. Yule decides to go to hospital himself, Kyun=soo visits and they decide to stay together, as it's familiar, Kyun-soo doesn't want to get others involved in his life anymore, as he feels he causes them harm, and they both are dependent on each other, there may still be the feelings of love, but it's not a healthy interpretation of this emotion to say the least.

Yes, it doesn't matter who Kyun-soo ends up with, he will always be tormented by Yule unfortunately.
