Finally someone with common sense lol
Dude get over yourself. I'm not a fan of this manga either, but you sound so condescending. So what if people like this because it has clichés, is that wrong? What makes your idea of "a good yaoi manga" right? I probably would have found your comment agreeable if it hadn't been for all the dissing on the people who do enjoy this manga.
Um.. for your information, uke are designed to act like girls, why do you think authors create them looking like one? The looks, emotions are suppose to be girl like, that's what they're going for. Uke's crying from a dominate Seme is normal. Also Uke's cries are mostly from pleasure so thats obvious, them crying for other reason are sometimes added in nothing wrong with that. If you don't like it then read Love Prism that may suit your liking... a lot of cries there.
Um....????????? yes you are the only go who wishes yaoi that doesn't remind you of shoujo.
one*
This manga is fine in its own rights. It actually isn't so full of cliches, and i'm pretty sure we ALL knew who the characters would end up with. Sure from time to tim I'd like a manlier uke, even some bara/bear type once in a while. But this uke was made for that seme. No need to diss on anybody's taste or on the type of manga this is. The only thing about this manga i find odd is the drastic character change from the uke in chapter 1 to end. But it's not for the worst, his character could have been a "before love" type of deal.
If you don't like this then read "U don't know me" or read BARA.
Everyone has different personal preference, so no point in arguing. For me , I think it's my all time favourite.
I see your point, but I don't agree with you. You're definitely not alone in your opinion though ;-)
Its just a manga. Why do you take it so seriously?
Well... maybe ukes cry, because the pain of gay anal sex. :I It's okay that you have that kind of opinion, but don't take that manga too seriously. Mangas should be entertainments.
they don't remind me of shoujo at all, i can't even read shoujo anymore, they're too cliche, but in an annoying sense to me. and i like yaoi, specially this one. it may follow some cliche's but most people like that. why do you think movies and books and stuff don't really change much? and rintarou is actually a less girly uke than a lot of the others i've read. and he's supposed to cry from time to time, kaede is kind of an S. but i guess it's not for you. but please don't make is sound so negative that we like it. you're a yaoi fan as well, so at least be kind to you're common fujioshi's
Well technically when you read this it hard to be reminded of a shoujo manga because
1. Dude rintarous body is too big for a girls come on havent you seen the shoulder of that guy he could be as manly as any guy from a glance.
2. His attitude is kinda rare for guys but there are still guys that has that kind of attitude like my bro for example if we had to compare him to rintarou theyd be more or less the same
3. Sure rintarou cries from time to time but mainly because of sex and emotional moments he rarely cried because he was sad or because he feels helpless because he cant help.NO he finds a way where he can solve it
4. Dude did you see the last few chapters before the ending where he was confronting kaedes grandma that didnt look like a guy without balls
But most of all i like the manga the way it is odd enough aure its more or less full of cliche stuff but come on there are times when you just want to forget about reality or you want to read something cute and fluffy and the best way for that is cliches never disappoints you in making you happy when you feel sad
Can you name a yaoi that isn't full of cliches? Besides, the only reason it reminds you of shoujo is because the plot is used in just about every shoujo series.
The only reason yaoi fans cling so desperately to this manga is because it full of cliche! From chapter one I already knew the ending of, every. last. couple. How boring is that? And I SWEAR every 'uke' cried at least once in here.
I would love to read a manga when the 'uke' actually act like he has balls between his thighs, and not some over emotional girl trapped in a dudes body.
I admit I used to fall sucker for the idea too (manly because I haven't read as much as I had now) but I have walked over that hill a long time ago.
Am I the only girl who wishes to read a yaoi manga that DOESN'T remind me of a shoujo manga??
-sigh-
