I don't like that Natsuki cheated, but I kind of can understand why he did it. They've been together for a really long time and always close to each other. The novelty wore off, they settled in their love and got used to it. They simply forgot how outstanding and special it was that they found love in each other. Then Natsuki had a really bad day and the thing he wanted to share with his boyfriend he couldn't. He made a mistake, a mistake that made him feel novelty - it was wrong but also exciting. A contrast to their boring life together. So, I can see why he cheated. But Arata beat him up good, so both did something wrong and it was their mistakes that made them realize what they had in each other and their love gained excitement.
Now, I am still not happy with them. But I am kind of proud that they made up. This story feels really real life-esk, it isn't beautiful or nice, or even perfect. And tbh I don't really like it. But I am glad I've read it. It though me that real love is bigger than than the guys dick you could cheat with.
