Technically, the person he "used" as a sacrifice and the person he'd been pretending to be for the past 140 chapters is back and alive, knowing everything he's done. So i won't be surprised if he was feeling out. In the end, he's still a kid.
Plus this was very sudden so of course he'd be shocked.
Its annoying that they are making Ciel seems so weak in all these chapters. His character is a strong one but now, he just turns into an ordinary boy. The story is just becoming messy. I can't wait for it to be over. Not my favorite arc.
