TBH, as the editor of GDC, it kind of really irritates me that you'd advertise a Google Translate version of the novel for others to read. It has so many errors that it shouldn't even be considered a translation.

If you read what I posted you would see that this is not the novel, this is a manga drawn based off the novel. True it was uploaded by the person who does the poor translation but of course they recommend others to read the exiled rebels scans since the actual in depth translation.

I can understand your pov and people are very thankful that there's a team that religiously translating the novel for people who don't understand Chinese. However, it takes ~years for these people to be able to read the full translated novel, and some people cannot wait that long so MTL is the only way they know what is going on, it's definitely the worst English translation but at least they get the gist of it.

is the anime is going by this manga or no

Neither the manga nor the anime are going exactly by the novel. If you want full details and scenes read the novel. The anime is only about 40% the same as the novel while the manga is 80% the same.
