so I thought about this all day and yes I am disappointed. I was already upset by the breakup letter, like wtf. That gutted me bc that is just such a chicken shit way to go about things and Mei being my waifu, it was hard. I couldn't even watch the anime bc I didn't want to see Mei's beautiful face. And now after all that turmoil this is the ending i get?! and at that they never even made love!!!!! Ugh! I'm not asking for a H scene but come on! And that quick to the point PLAYED ending?? You break my heart and it's just forgiven like that? Sigh* what a let down.
Having said all that Citrus will still remain in my heart bc I loved the characters and it did start off well. I started it when it came out and stuck with it until now. And Mei still is the most beautiful bishoujo I've ever seen. And Yuzu is just so adorably pure hearted. At least the happy ending came before a time skip. Had she actually married him and then got with Yuzu later I wouldn't be able to forgive her. I guess I can watch the anime now..lol. And yes, I am that much of an Otaku.
