"...But the more you tend to them... the more they grow and grow..."

I know this is from the past, but if you think about it, it can also explain the thing Soohwa and Yohan have going on. Just like the sprouts that are smaller than his fingernails, their fuck buddy thing wasn't anything serious, just a small arrangement they had. But now, now that they've 'tended' to each others needs over time, it's grown.

Also, I noticed that in chapter 30 Yohan says, "I wish they'd dry up faster," when referring to the dying plants Soohwa had brought up. Maybe Yohan doesn't want to tend to the plants anymore because they're from Byung, but it wouldn't really make sense for him to suddenly stop taking care of something he considers a hobby. So, maybe it's the romantic bone in my body that's making me delulu, but I think it's important to keep in mind that Soohwa has somehow taken up Yohan's attention away from the plants. Maybe I'm wrong for looking too much into this part, but I think it's worth thinking about.

That is some great insight there...a lot of authors have a symbol woven into the story and now we get the both the reason for and the history of the plants Yohan keeps....

Also I'd like to note that Yohan said that he always wanted a small pet, but because animals don't like him he gave up and took care of plants instead. Soohwa in a way fulfills that he's a small person that he can take care of. I also think it's a mix of that and the plants are from Byung, but he took care of them before, I believe?

Well, he does compare Soohwa to a hamster. And yeah, he took care of the plants way before Soohwa was even a part of their staff, so I think it's quite significant that he's choosing to let the plants wither now.

They are both are slowly starting to realize that in their current sex buddy relationship, there is something missing. Yohan mentions that it annoys him that he has no power in the decisions Soohwa makes and Soohwa is getting the sense that there is something missing that feels 'empty'. That could be the actual real relationship of aspect that they don't currently have. They are missing 'Love'. Soohwa at least tried to understand Yohan and didn't want to bother him with his problem. Didn't want to drag Yohan into his issues. I just hope the crazy brother doesn't really hurt Soohwa.

Yeah, I agree. I feel like Yohan is gonna actually come to terms with his feelings for Soohwa first, and pin after him knowingly. I have a feeling Byung won't be able to put a hurt on Soohwa though, Soohwa can hold his own. Unless he uses his assistant after all, you know, the plant delivery dude. Last I remember, Byung instructed him to charm Soohwa and then get him out of the cafe. I feel like only then can Soohwa be in true danger, 'cause of the whole two versus one situation and all.

Although I do wonder how long it'll take for Yohan to confess his feeling once he realizes he has them
