Her art was never beautiful imo. Since the very beginning. Didn't most people read her manga only because of the story?

Yeah. If you compare it to the beginning, especially in Junjou, you can see the areas she improved.

She impeoved alot since Junjou, I really liked her drawings from Sekaiichi Hatsukoi first tomes, but since tome 9 or 10, her drawing style has changed to worse. Hair are not that fluffy, shape of Takano's eyes changed, chins are too narrow, sex scenes looks bad, a bit unproportional. I look at new chapters and something is off.

tbh in the beginning of like junjou and even sekaiichi, the bodies were always super disproportionate, mostly the hands and feet. and usagi's hair was really looking like a helmet.

also the hair has gotten a lot better so idk about that part lol. also takano's chin was looking square as hell. it's still square but not as bad as it was, ya get me?
tbh drawing styles are exactly that: styles, and it's pretty rude to say someone's style makes their characters "ugly", but maybe that's just me.
anyway tldr; nakamura has really improved on her style and things look less rigid/stiff and characters look a bit softer so it's a 10/10 from me.

imo around vol 8 was when her art improved the most. after that it gets kind of wack :(

I am not sure if i am right about this.
I know that the drawing is "kinda bad" in the magazine issue but in tankoubon version, sensei might correcting the drawing as she has time to edit them. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
