I decided to read on and who the heck is Ellie? So he's the dude from Shell's past. It irks me when people have someone they found extremely special to them like a lover, etc but move on. Just me?
So I ended up reading the whole thing so if anyone sees this, just ignore me. BUT WHY IS THE ENDING SO SAD-ISH TYPE. I WANTED SOME HAPPIER ENDING NOT SOME ENDING WHERE ONE DIES

He did not die. They plan his death in public to avoid human and vampire killing each other by becoming the common enemy. Shell shot him on the chest where Eric already put a metal plate as protection. Then eric moved to the south to hide because everyone thought he is dead. So shell visit him from time to time. It is a happy ending. I just hope there will be extra or something fluffy after chap 61 tho
So I just started checking this out and I don't know who he is although I've seen people mention his name. Who's Eric? I understand he is some dude from Shell's past but I don't know who he is exactly. And what happens to One at the end? I know I seem like some horribly lazy person since I'm asking for spoilers but SPOIL ME PLEASE.
