From what I understand, popularity and rating are not the same.
Popularity is basically the number of readers viewing it , or reading a particular manga, more like it's looked upon by a lot of people.
Rating is purely based on the voting, i.e. the number of stars that a person rates for a manga
Because for example, a manga may not be that popular but might be a really good, so even though there are less views it can have 9+ , depending on how many people gave it 5 stars or 4 stars, etc.
Similarly a manga may have a lot of views, but may have a 8+ rating, cause not many rated it as 5 stars ,...
I hope this clears it kind of. However there is no filter to sort mangas by rating cause I tried it myself few times.
For quality I'd prefer rating, than views, not that it's so accurate but to an extent you could say ...
Is there a way to see all manga filtered by rating?? I know how to search for a specific genre and sort by "popularity", which I'm not sure what means (I do know it's not the number of people who read it or voted it neither the rating itself, so... I don't know how populatity is meassured, but that could be a different question), but what I want is to order ALL manga, regardless of genre, by rating. Can you help me? (=・ω・=)
