Hey, y'all! I've been looking for this light novel for the past couple days and was wondering if anyone here might be familiar with it. It was about this guy who, in his original life, entered the palace with his childhood friend to help her in her pursuit of the emperor, but was thrown away by her once she found him no longer useful.
However, his soul goes back in time and he wakes up when they were about to cut off his.... little brother... so he can become an eunuch and go into the palace with her. Fortunately, he manages to keep his family jewels when he enters the palace. It gets a bit foggy from here but I believe he slowly grows close to the emperor and also works to foil the childhood friend's schemes.
However, one day, the house he is living in catches on fire and he rushes in because there is some type of incriminating evidence under his bed. He grabs the parcel and manages to pull himself out of the fire before fainting. The problem is, he grabbed the wrong thing. Instead what was found in his hands were love letters to the emperor that his childhood friend had wanted him to help her write or something.
The emperor is cool with this but starts treating him like a consort, rather than an eunuch. They get more intimate, but the dude still has a pee pee and if the emperor find out, it'll be seen as a betrayal? Treason? Something like that. Any help appreciated.
