The dialogue cut was when lwj says "both (the rabbits) are male!!". (toppling not present in mahua).
In fact manhua also cut the scene when they were in bath together. And also wwx didnt say "you have quite a great body" in the novel lol.
They also added lwj's perspective before wwx became yiling patriach which is not present in novel.
Yep, they ommited some bl scenes in xuanwu cave (only some teasing) , but replaced it with suggestive one. But they didnt add wwx's uber straight serious dialogues either.
In the present scenes there are teasing, skinship and flirtatious dialogue. But i think the anime should keep them as they didnt cut the scene when wwx said "han-guan-jun is just my type (づ￣ ³￣)づ"... But about "bed" (not love) scenes.... Um probably no.
I wont say anything bad about China in this respect. Afterall China is the birthplace of Mo Dao Zu Shi. To put so much dedication to create this anime impressed me. Honestly mdzs is so much more than just shonen ai. Ofc this couple is my fav ship because whatever you may overlook (in the 1st ep emperor's smile beside guqin, Lwj grabbing wwx's hand while he was fluting to wen ning, rabbits, ribbon, xuanwu cave lwj's humming etc etc. ) IS REAL ROMANTIC DEVELOPMENT.
I started watching the anime because I saw the shounen ai tag but it ended up turning out to be a good series either way. I’m just really frustrated how all the cute shounen ai moments are cut out because Chinese government is fucking dumb. I’m just skimming thru the manhua to see what parts weren’t added in so I can keep shipping them harder
