TL;TR Here u Are is a cute, amazingly drawn story and not (as) toxic as most shounen-ais/yaois

Comment section was so nice for such a long time but now came some Anonymous person who is bitching. I feel like that person was waiting for 55 chapters just to find some little flaw in the current plot and now they are spamming the comment section with the same thing, that story is bad, that peacing is bad, that something is ignored, blah blah. First of all, DJun said himself not long ago that we're not even half way through the story, so imo there is time to solve the problems of characters. Secondly, there is one particular comment that rubs me the wrong way so I want to respond to it. (Even thought no one asked for it, bear with me lol)

"It's "realistic" in what way?" It's realistic in a "look at typical yaoi, Here U Are is lots and lots more realistic" way.

"Because they fail to communicate?" It sometimes takes years for people to get on the same page and start to comunicate and believe me, I've seen relationships where there was like 987653454 levels less of comunication and some could work out their problems, some couldn't so give the story time.

"Because there is zero sexual contact or talk as would be expect from young adults at uni?" Lmao, I'm a student at uni, and wow, I'll surprise you. I have 0 sexual contact and talk with none of fellow students about that stuff 'cause we're not besties or even friends to talk about stuff like that. They don't even know each other THAT WELL so wtf do you expect them to babble about sex, especially when Li Huan is introverted and kinda shy and YuYang doesn't even know what to feel about Li Huan's confession. Not everyone is an easy going person who gets along with everyone and even if they do, they don't have to be great at romantic/sexual relationships.

"That the author draws out one scene over weeks?" He releases the comic FOR FREE and doesn't complain about his comics (other too) being translated to english and published on sites like this one, so... I really didn't want to say it but fuck you. Drawing so beautifully and publishing it for free? You're showing the biggest ungreatefullness towards an artist I have ever seen.

"Because there are female characters that go after a gay man despite knowing this is pointless?" Eh. You haven't seen other comics, aka "stereotipical yaois" where females are portried as bitches who force themselves on gay men to turn them straight and often rape them, so don't complain that dramatically about YuYang's friend having a little crush on him but imidiatelly giving up BECAUSE SHE RESPECTS HIS SEXUAL PREFERENCES. Also in real life, hetero ppl happen to have crushes on lgbt+ ones, and the other way aound. It happens, really.

"That the realities of the situation regarding lgbt rights and discrimination have only been hinted at?" I also think that things like that should be highlighted, but dude, it's a comic about two boys falling in love, NOT about fucking political agenda. There is time for everything, so don't make DJun carry a responsibility of a social activist, because it would be only and only his choice to be one, likewise other artists and authors.

"That there is zero internal dialogue and limited dialogue as a whole meaning the characters thoughts are never really conveyed?" Well, they were clear and well conveyed for me so I guess that's a personal judgement call for everyone.

"That adults at university are shown to act like kids?" Not every 18-20sth person is super mature and has all knowleage about life and solutions to all problems. My 19 y/o ass can be an example. I know nothing and people like you who expect young adults to be fucking expercts at life make me ashamed that I'm not one. "Thank you" for that.

"That discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation is not a crime, so the domestic abuse he receives from his parents and uni peers can not be reported but Yuyang's thoughts and frustrations on this are never stated?" Okay. I feel like you read only one page from every chapter and stated your opinion. DJun in his work is showing that what his family and some students are doing is wrong and yes, situations like that happen, and fucking yes the plot can progress and his parents may accpet him! BUT WE'RE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO AN ENDING JUST AS DJUN STATED IN HIS Q&A.

"That people in the comments are presuming sexual positions simply because of their heights, because in real life if you like anal sex depend on being shorter than your partner?" I also hate when people do that, aka "the cute and smaller person always must be a bottom". But why are you blaming DJun? He may go into direction where he makes YuYang a bottom and it will be stereotipical for mangas/manhwas/manguas, but guess what, it is his story and his characters so he can do with them whatever he wants. I'm not saying it's right or good, but he can do that.

That's what I think. I don't want to offend anybody, you have all rights to not like this mangua, but if you are a fan and you're not grateful for the great work that DJun is providing for free every week then get offended and FUCK YOU. PEACE.

"That the author draws out one scene over weeks?" [that one I got wrong, sorry] Imo he can draw out one scene even more. I won't complain. The more the better. I have time, I can wait lmao

honestly I could even partly agree with their opinion on the pacing, but the rest is just... too much. they're spamming the comment session like a mad man and coming off as more hostile and entitled than they probably think they do. just say that you think this and that and go, damn.
