I thought the same thing, but I think it was that taesung mentioned that his mother wanted them to marry, though I've never seen her say it herself? That's what I thought though, so I was like "girl wtf are you saying at this point"
I read somewhere in the flashbacks that Taesungs mom wanted him to marry Haebom but Taesung couldn't because he was a guy? Idk I could be wrong.
