Sadly depicted as painful and no dad in the room?!

Why did he get whisked away and why did they call it surgery then labour? Sad to see him giving birth without his husband and sad to hear yet another depiction of birth as something painful. Can't wait to see that baby. held one today and they're so so cute when they're just born!

Well birth is actually painful but that doesn't mean it's bad thing, or an insult to birth.
Since he went in for a C section the husband was not able to come in since a c section is a surgical operation. THOUGH. That's not the same for all hospitals or countries, in some hospitals it'll allow you to have one person in the room during a C section. Honestly there are a lot of rules if you have any questions I can send you some links from people that are better at explaining child birth than I am.

I had 3 babies in the UK and I birthed my last myself at home so I do know quite a bit! Sort of beats me how people ill spend more time and effort prepping a wedding rather than a birth. A well prepped birth does not have to be painful and I'm a total wuss when it comes to pain. I assume they let a bit of labour happen to stimulate the baby before a spinal anaesthesia and C-section in this case... We know they go to hospital regularly but yet they seem totally unaware of how birth will happen or that it can happen a bit earlier. A week early is nothing unusual afterall! But heh, the most important is that baby is finally here... can't wait...
