Also DG knows he fucked up, it’s partly why he’s distancing himself from Alex and not trying to make the same mistakes again fucking with him. Alex is still approaching and treating him in the same manner he used to so DG is scared he’ll make the same mistake again, he’s not a mind reader. this is why Alex knows it’s so important now to show DG he is different than before but he’s struggling badly. Both these boys messed up and they are growing from their mistakes but we are seeing the growing pains and hey, I’m just along for the ride.
