Im a girl in 3rd year of college, and my grade went downhill since the 2nd semester. I wanted to change my major but my dad said, "you pick the major, so you fight for it. I won't allow you to change the major". So im staying in my current major. Fast forward to the start of 5th semester, my mom asked me, "can you improve your grade till 6th semester?" And i reassured her that i can. I can't. I got my midterm score and it's not good, C is the higher grade which is 68. I got another 30-ish in the course that i repeated It's okay since i used to got 10-ish for the score. But what my parents gonna say? I can't graduate with only C's. I can't get work with this kind of grade. If my grade didn't get better in 6th semester, what will my parents do? Will they make me drop out of college? Then what? Stay at home? What can i do? I still have 30ish credit of E's that i need to repeat. I can't even guarantee even after repeated, i can get it to B or A. The tuition is getting very expensive and i don't work too because i don't know how to work. I don't see any future right now..

Well, firstly you have to stop streesing, streesing hasn't helped anyone, second, take a little rest and drink some te or something, after this start studying the things that you like and little by little advance with the things you don't know and repeat them. If you can't understand something then ask someone who knows it.
IDK if this was helpfuel but still, do your best!

Can you find out why your grades are dropping? Did something happen? Is it hard for you to study? I mean, is it just that you are not interested, or more like you really have trouble concentrating?
Furthermore, there's always a future! Sometimes it just needs some detours to find your personal way of life. Don't let it get you down like that!

grade doesnt define your job success someday.
i know someone whose grades are all 75 in subjects and is earning waaaay more bucks than me, whose grades are within the top 20 in the semester. i know someone who took licensure exam twice or thrice, yet they already hold a position in their respective company, and im still in the rank anf file parts (took it once btw)
juz make it to the passing grades and graduate the course.
however when u work someday, make sure u do ur best....
....tho im not the one in position to tell this, but u go mate! remeber, we all guys suck, and we, definitely, we can swallow, too
    *winks*

first you need to understad why you are failing. Is it becouse you hate your major? Is it becouse you don't study enough? Is it becouse you are studing with the wrong method?

If this major isn't for you, as in it's not in your "chords" than you should consider trying harder to convince your parents and change major.
If you are just struggling with the amount of studing try talking with other students and find a better method.(for some group study do wonders, others like me are more of a "lone wolf")

My suggestion is to take the time you need with each subject, worry less about the grade and more about learning while following class. This way you will get better grades, trust me.
If you really dislike your major it will be hard to finish it, and if it simply isn't for you go look for something better fitting your talents.

Good luck, I know it's hard but don't give up on yourself!

You can get a good job with C's. Most jobs just want to know that you have a degree. The average gpa for engineering majors is like a 2.75, and they get paid ridiculously well. Push through

I truly have no idea why my grade is dropping so bad. I've tried everything and maybe my major isnt my cup of tea, but im too old to start fresh probably the best option is to graduate in this major even with average grade. Thank you so much for your advice!

    You do that! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
And I don't know about your cultural background, but brainwise you are never too old to learn something new. It happens every day actually. So don't give up on things too fast and give yourself a chance to develop!
