So much to say

I really loved this story I read it countless times (no jokes I could read entire season 1 several time a day). That's why now I can say this is story is in my top 3 manga end deception. I don't know what turn wrong but everything seems so rushed without any flavour. I precise that I don't care about the rape thing, Dojin is a rapist but that's how I like my yaoi (not only ahah).

My arguments for the ones who care: (I precise I don't count the fact that there will be a season 3)

-Hyesung is a math genius ? Ok but who care ? The author did nothing with that except teasing

-I like Hyesung personnality, I also like the fact that Dojin and him are so different but so funny and sometimes cute together. I was just hoping for a development where he will be less (a lot less) childish, but that didn't not happen. Hyesung did not change no matter what happen to him he remain the same (except for the chapter when they had consensual sex at that moment he seems to have grown more mature but just for one chapter)

-I also like Dojin, I like the fact that he brainstormed about everything which happen to him with such honest feeling. But him also doesn't improve himself (just on the fact he admited to himself and to HyeSung that he was in love with). When HyeSung was afraid to be assoulted again in chapter 6 (when he said he is not in heat to Dojin) Dojin said that he was not a sex maniac few chapters later he forced himself on Hyesung, then he apologize and said that he will not do it again. Chapter he did again. When we tought that becoming a father change him, he start again with the unwanted sex (I repeat that doesn't hurt me that he rapes him I just think that in every rapey yaoi there is a moment where rape have to stop)

-Heesoo: The author made me hate him for nothing, he said horrible things about HyeSung in the beginning of the story without even knowing him just because he was poor and without school education. He send an evil glare to HyeSung's friend when he asked how was the baby without answering. And all that for him just being a nice guy who wanted to do well ?

-Heesoo: He is less and less manly (certainly to prepare the ground for the brother story) I think that I will not have a story with a manly uke here.

-Tofu face ? What happen to him ? The only person who loves sincerely and in a healthy way Hye Sung just desappear of the story ? Was he just there to make Dojin realize about is feeling ? Didn't espect him to be with Hye sung but he would have been good to make their relationships grow stronger and make Hye sung mature and realize that he still prefer Dojin

-Hye sung's parent, I hoped so much that they will see again his mother, talk to her, cry with her. If that had happen that would have make so much sense that he came back for his child. Because his mother will have talk about her regret, he will talk about his loneliness and realize that he is doing the same thing to Byul.

-Chap 42: I crossed my finger and hope that Hyesung just came back for Byul and not for Dojin to let time to their relationship to grow stronger while raising Byul. But the vignet crushed my hopes, they just throw the past apart. And Hye sung is so weak in this episode, he look more like a child now. Overall when they meet Dojin family.

To finish I will say that even if this story is no more an awesome one for me it is still a good story that I will follow. Just the deception was so great that I had to talk ahah.

Yep, so many loose ends simply used as a cheap plot device. The plot would have been better if "Love was an illusion" because they were fated mates, instead of omegaverse simply being used as a way to justify rape and rape being a way to convey love. The end was so unfulfilling, Hye-sung being forced to return to the man who raped him, else he will die, because Dojin somehow bonded with him. Then Dojin is acting like a happy family man with him suddenly and Hye-sung is the obedient shy wifey off to meet the inlaws, after all the turmoil, what? Not going to bother with the next series if there is one, the author has gotten worse since their first series if they think all the writing flaws you pointed out and all the rape is acceptable. Drawing Hye-sung like a little boy was awful, the author should have been able to convey him being physically weaker and more naive and headstrong without doing this, god help if they turn Heeso into a stereotypical feminine uke like you alluded to.
