Although initially Kitamoto, like Shishijima, was attracted to Chiyo because "She's quite well-endowed" (chapter 9), he gradually came to like her as a person over time, and treated her much as he would treat his little sister, Honomi, but he was certainly smitten by her smile at the end of chapter 82. However, I wouldn't bank on that ship much...
