aki is such a cruel & hypocritical asshole. yes, his heart is broken, yes, he is suffering, but in these hardships he never let himself grow as a person, never learned compassion because of that chip on his shoulder. he thinks he was treated unfairly: “if you didn’t want me, why did you indulge my feelings?” - and yet he does exactly the same to the kindest person around, to someone who’d break his back for him! aki knows what it’s like to be cruelly “lead on” when in truth you’re not needed, yet does the same to his friend (!) who sincerely wishes him happiness. at first i thought he was just a flirty guy oblivious to haruki’s feelings, but then he reveals he knew about them all along! he knew about them while teasing haruki, while falling asleep next to him, and oh my god he knew about them while fucking assaulting haruki! i’m so mad, it’s is so disgusting, i just.. ughhh haruki is best boy, i’m so upset he had to live through this awful experience. he’s so strong for managing to keep kindness in his heart. i hope he’ll be happy eventually. and falls in love with someone who actually deserves him
