the one which hongdo got from his brother? if so, then i think so too. but i kind of don't know the trick behind this. maybe all hongdo gotta do is just remove his left eye (the one from his brother) ╮(￣▽￣)╭
as the eye was originally hong do's, and contains a mechanism which allows the user a power to control the spirit gate. considering that they are both related by blood, maybe thats how hong do's brother could open the gate?
this bothers me sooo much... so the giant gatekeeper told hongdo that the reason his brother could use his eye was because of hongdo himself... what does this mean??!! maybe he could have prevented the gate from opening entirely if he figures it out ?
