I would say that any works by Harada is a good candidate. There was this one that made me depressed for a few days.

I also found one author (name forgotten) with seemingly messed up mentality. I (regretfully) read one of his work, and while the story is in Japanese, it is clear that it is not a happy one. The MC got hit repeatedly in the balls and got the skin of the balls cut off. Later, he got decapitated. I still don't know what the story is about till this day, and I am not eager to find that out.
