She's actually as selfish and as self-obsessed as everyone else. And her reasoning is more flawed.
Blame the Dice? And butting in someone else's choices?
There's this belief where a knife is neither good nor evil but rather, it would depend on the wielder.
When a person was murdered using a knife, do you blame the knife? Would you say that it was better if all knives never existed?
That's why she's stupid... and selfish, and a hypocrite.
Stupid because instead of understanding the others why they can't give up the dice, she antagonizes them by wishing dice never existed. She also refuses to understand, especially the part where dongtae argued that it's not the dice's fault but the one controlling it.
Selfish because she wants her own happy world without accounting what the others desires.
A hypocrite because she hurt those same people she wanted to 'save' in order to get stronger and get the final die to rid them of the taint of the dice...
Lastly, very self obsessed. Unlike dongtae who tried to learn more about Suksoon and Nani, she simply went and assumed that Suksoon was just like everyone else, hurting people to get dice because it's 'fun' to do so.
So you say it's better to let people use DICE to abuse others, let themselves be controlled by DICE and X, and become a human scum who does anything for DICE?
Why do you mess with the only character that hasn´t become human scum?
(Even when she hasn´t become addicted to DICE like everyone else)
And well that criticizes ignoring that the rest is WORSE PEOPLE than her, just because she is willing to destroy the DICE, because she saw and sees what DICE is doing to others (Like kill innocents, stop trusting other people, abandon aspirations and dreams, leave the family aside, stop living your life), and she is willing to face to others in order to stop it (Because she knows that they willn´t leave that power, after having tasted the DICE).
According to you, in order for her to be "perfect", she would have to be an angel or caricative goddess, to remain silent on one side, and let others kill each other, while she prays for their deaths.
Seriously, the saint is always criticized more than the devil.
First: Human scum
-Did you know that humans are both good and evil? Therefore, choices will always depend on whatever an individual's perception of right and wrong. Those "Human Scum" you're referring to is simply doing whatever they think is right for them which is following what they want. Eunjo is no better. Her perception of what is right and wrong might be different to the others, but she is still following what the others are following, what she wants. Those human scum killed for their desire, she killed for what she desire. But I guess lesser of two evils huh?
Second: Controlled by the Dice and X
- Oh boy... did you read that part where X pressured her into rolling the dice? Does that count as manipulation/controlling? I'll let you answer that.
Third: She's a Saint
- This is, sometimes, how religion starts. Anyways, she is soooo good isn't she? After all, in all caps, everybody else is Worse than her simply because she choose differently. Oh well. She is a saint. Let's go back to what I said about choices. Those people choose to do what they want, while she Wants to change those people's choices... why? Because she thinks what they're doing is bad. I guess free will is superbly blatant in that sentence.
and Fourth: Perfect
- Ha Ha Ha xD Very true! Although not to the point of being angelic, that's too exaggerated, but I can't remember ever wanting her to be perfect, the girl's too much of a human as everybody else that is worse than her... What I want her to be is like this, "It's not her business if they want kill each other. She should stop comparing her life problems to the others because they are not her and she is not them. But since she decided to make it her problem because she's 'too nice', then she shouldn't be too shocked that people would be effing furious with her. A helping hand that is not wanted is bound to be bitten no matter the good intentions behind it."
And that, my dear, is my choice as a reader, I don't like her character. (Also)And since you shared your own opinion, I am bound to reciprocate.
Capiché? Thank you. xD
Thank you for giving me an honest opinion, and answering me seriously, and I'm the type that takes this kind of thing very seriously, whether we're talking fictional stories or debating about human nature.
First answer:
It is true that all humans have "evil" and "goodness" inside them, and that makes us human. But you have to admit that in this manhwa there are many more "evil characters" or at least cretins who don´t think twice about betraying an old ally or friends in order to have more DICE.
It is true that the "badness" and "goodness" depends on the perception of oneself, and their level of morality, me for example, consider someone "bad" or a cretin when he/she betrays someone who trusted him/her for his/her own benefit (Thing that happens a lot in this manhwa XD).
Following the line of thought that is "wrong" to impose your sense of justice to others who don´t think the same as you, is to say that it is wrong to stop or rob a thief, or it is wrong to kill a murderer.
I won´t deny that Eunju isn´t perfect, and can make mistakes, but you can´t deny that she is one of the characters with the best morality in this manhwa, who hasn´t betrayed anyone and treats everyone equally. (There are also other characters with morality, but give them time, and we'll see if they hold)
Second answer:
I don´t deny that, it is true that X convinced her to get into the DICE, but at least she hasn´t become addicted to DICE.
(ALL are obsessed with the DICE, and can´t imagine their life without it, that's a big problem of addiction that has the protagonist)
Third Answer:
Personally I think that she is a very good person, even too much for her own good, to the point that she ends up suffering for it.
Literally, she has been accused more than once for it (Apparently being a good person is a worse crime than becoming a cretin addicted to DICE in this manhwa).
I guess whatever I say, you'll continue to see it as something bad that she wants to change everyone's opinion, in my opinion, we already saw in the school period (when everyone was more free to use and get DICE), what they used DICE and how little by little they were abandoning their "daily life" (Including friends, hobbies, family, and so on) to antagonize everyone, and try to get more DICE.
I can´t deny that you have a point in your argument, but something that this manhwa has shown is that people don´t know how to use "power without limit and without consequences" without harming anyone, including oneself (At least, this brats).
So in this I give Eunju the reason, while everyone is submerging in the madness of SAYS, someone should try to stop it.
Fourth answer:
It doesn´t seem to me that she is shocked to be blamed, because even before DICE, people already blamed her for "being too perfect", when she has decided to stop DICE, she has prepared to be antagonize for everyone.
Her only part of selfish, would be that she still wants to save her ex-boyfriend, in my opinion.
And my opinion is that her character is what keeps me reading this manhwa.
Of course, I respect your opinion.

And it bothers the hell out of me.
People can't be trusted with dice period. Everyone from Dongtae's school is dead except for the 4 main characters. Teachers were being killed too. Dice caused greed and that just resulted in more death (and then dice spread outside of the school).
Eunju's life wasn't perfect. We see several flashbacks about a car accident of some sort and she has these scars all over her back. Obviously she has been through some shit. It isn't her fault she was born pretty and other people are ugly is it? Dongtae complains about his life but he does nothing to change himself (without dice). If he is so "weak" he needs to work out. Mio could've lost weight too... But for some reason we want to blame Eunju? Who became "normal" after all the people in her school used dice to be pretty with superpowers? Literally everyone in that school tried to kill Eunju after X put a hit on her.
If Eunju becomes the final dicer in the end, it wouldn't matter really. She can kill whoever she wants and just make it like dice never existed. Which rewrites all those deaths correct?
Eunju is nice so why is everyone wishing her death? It saddens me tbh.
