Did you guys hear about the Chinese BL author who got sentenced to 10 years in prison for her BL novel? I knew China was conservative and didn't support homosexuality, but I didn't know they were so cruel as to imprison authors/artists of BL work. Makes me worried for this manwha as it feels like we will never get the romance we want so bad for this story. But I mean isn't Here U Are a Chinese comic? So maybe there is hope....

I live in China and yes, this news was everywhere. The reason why she was sent to jail is because appearently her work was very explicit and graphic, mind you, porn is banned in China. To the authorities and th... Yue

Sadly, it's easier said than done. Imagine you moving to another country, leaving behind everything you've built for so long. Her moving means losing not only family, connections, but even career as her publishers are based in greater China. The bad outweighs the good. ):
