Sweet love story (With the story going on even after the couple start dating each other which arguably the main meat of story), relatable main character (Who is openly stated as gay and dealing a lot with his sexuality in his teenage year), great cast of supporting character (Made it felt like its more of family drama that just an ordinary yaoi) while still have nice sense of humor all around (Made it actually less gloomy then a lot of yaoi manga that deal with real world gay men problem)
