... "Prince falls in love with peasant" stories aren't usually my bag. The prince is usually over the top in looks, arrogance and perversion. This story wasn't quite like that. Well, the prince was gorgeous -the artistic details for him made my heart flutter - and he was an arrogant ass at first, but he was a low key perv. No banging in the temple or on the tour bus or on the back of an elephant in a parade. Just sweet romance in Hikaru's little flat. Of course this story follows the same course as every other Prince/peasant story with the prince not wanting his title, getting married to someone he has never met, yada yada yada and on it goes. But this story REALLY got to me. I think it was all the talk of not giving up, finding happiness and knowing what it felt like to really love someone, that did me in. It just had elements in it that were sweet and down to earth. So, although it followed the typical storyline, it felt like there was a lot more to it than most prince/peasant stories. In really liked it. I liked the story, the art and the characters. More importantly, I'll gladly read it again.

I haven't read this yet, but if I wasn't already sold by all the re-reading comments, I definitely am now.
