I hope not. He was with Shanghee when she met the Emperor. I think he walked her back to her room while the shadow guy talked to the Emperor. If I am remembering it correctly he can't be. Probably need to reread the chapter to make sure though. I do feel bad for him that he has no power and now Shanghee had the awakening. I hope it doesn't come between them.

The first prince did betray the MC, but it was because he was controlled by the Shadow Guy who has the ability to control people like what happened with Jinsu, so don't hate on him too much T_T

Agreed, typing spoilers at this point is pointless considering the replies reveal the actual spoiler. So according to the 2nd spoiler he isn't the shadow guy. Which was the original question. So there was no point adding the 1st spoiler stating he was. SMDH
I think no matter how much dots you put, you'd have to put a ton(because we all put a lot of dots) to not show what you actually wrote. So either way, hopefully people who see spoiler at all will just run pass the main comment or whole conversation.
