I think so too. I think both flashbacks are just different experiences with the same truth, that they had bad parents. And I think that the first time they worked together was to rid themselves of those parents but now they're in this awkward codependent situation while simultaneously still hating each other.
Wow that makes sense! I’m just like who is the bad person really in this story. The brothers got lot of issues and sad they drag people into it!
